Hey, newbie here. Name's Kyle. I'm 17 and live in MD. I have a 1999 Civic hatchback DX, silver with a few mods. It has 16 inch Liquid Metal Static wheels, OEM Si front lip, ABS Si grill and a few interior mods, Pioneer and Sony speakers and an Alpine headunit. I have a great passion for anything with 4 wheels and especially Hondas (dad is a Honda mechanic so that helps). I'll probably be posting a few new threads later about some questions about possible mods to my car I could do.

 

welcome to HCF, the hatch looks clean. possible mods i would add to your list, a drop, and paint the grill. what mods do you have plan?

 

Planned mods are
A new hood, even though you can't tell in the picture, the hood is very messed up. The car was involved in an accident before we got it, radiator support was a tad tweaked( a steel rod and some leverage did the trick). So the hood is very wrinkly in the front around the grill.. I was planning on a CF hood, but at 400+ I much rather have a spring/shock set up. I definally plan on dropping it(Konis, Tokicos, Tein, Eibach, I'm all over the place with possible set ups) this spring/summer once I go back to work. I'll be asking some questions about that later. Not too much of a drop, about 1.25-1.5 is more than enough for me. Then probably some tint or an amp. I'm waiting on a possible free Bazooka 8 inch sub. Then possibly a sway bar and poly bushings. I'm not really going all speed oriented because that D16 is pretty weak and the car isn't worth dropping a B18 or w.e in it (I'd just go buy a GSR with one in it already). But handling is definally an easier thing to do. Lastly a muffler (Apexi WS2 most likely) that will give it a nice hum but isn't too loud.
