Have you had your car tuned properly? possibly the Rev limiter is off... it's something of that nature.

I was actually doing a little light reading on tuning earlier I might dabble into it looks really interesting.

True!!! I've learned enough in two week that I found a eg hatch that was in HORRIBLE condition BUT the motor only has 120,000 miles on it! I beleive it's a D16z6 but im not 100% sure.
When I talked to the guy I was asking him if it was a D16z6 or the stock Dx motor which is what a D15 something he said and I quote " whoaaa shorty, your talking a diff language I have no Idea what your saying to me" hahah!!! So since the guy has no idea what he has he couldn't give me a price. I told him straight from looking at the car if it was going to be a "project car" he'd need alot of money because that poor hatch looked like it fell off a cliff it had NO interior except 2 mismatched seats! The hood was tied down with string the sun roof apparently leaked because there was blue tape all around it. I'm Hoping he'll sell it to me for a decent price so I can get started on my swap!!! =]

I know I just rattled that off but I had to tell someone!!!

Sounds pretty messed up to me... there is an easy way to tell what the engine is tho... on the block right in front.... on the end closest to the transmission.... about 6 to 8 inches from the bottom is a big square flat spot... it has 2 numbers... the smaller lower one is a serial number the upper bigger number will be where it says D16Z6 if it is one....
