i dont think he baked them but i'll ask and come back with the answer, what i do know is that he like scraped out the yellow stuff, didn't buy anything just took out the lights and somehow got the yellow out.

HEY MAN! I HAVE THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION. THE WAY TO DO IT IS TO REMOVE YOUR FRONT BUMPER AND THE UNBOLT YOUR HEADLIGHTS FROM THE CAR. AFTER THE HEADLIGHT IS REMOVED, YOU WILL SEE THIN BEAD OF SEALANT ALL THE WAY AROUND THE HEDLIGHT WHERE THE CLEAR PLASTIC MEETS THE REAR SECTION OF THE HOUSING(THIS PIECE WILL BE LIGHT GREY COLORED PLASTIC). THEN TAKE A RAZOR BLADE AND CUT THE SEALANT BETWEEN TWO PEICES OF PLASTIC. YOU WILL NOW BE ABLE TO SEPERATE THE HEADLIGHT HOUSING. THEN ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS REMOVE THE AMBER COLORED PLASTIC INSERTS WHICH WILL JUST HAVE LITTLE PLASTIC TABS WHICH SLIDE INTO GROOVES ON THE HOUSING. AFTER THEY ARE REMOVED YOU WILL NEED SOME TYPE OF CLEAR SILICONE SEALANT, SUCH AS RTV. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD SEAL COMPLETELY AROUND THE HEADLIGHT OR YOU WILL GET MOISTURE LOCK. ALSO, TRY TO AVOID TOUCHING THE CHROME PORION OF THE HEADLIGHT BECAUSE FINGERPRINTS ON THE INSIDE OF THE LIGHT WILL LOOK TERRIBLE. I HAVE ALSO SEEN PEOPLE USE THIS SAME METHOD AND SPRAY THE CHROME WITH BLACK PLASTIC SPRAY PAINT IT GIVES IT A REAL JDM LOOK WITHOUT THE JDM PRICE. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ABOUT 5 HOURS OF FREE TIME TO DEVOTE TO THIS DIY BECAUSE TAKING YOUR TIME ALWAYS SHOWS!!! I HAVE DONE THIS ON AN 01 CIVIC AND A 96 CIVIC AND BOTH TIMES IT CAME OUT GREAT. GOOD LUCK. WHEN YOU DO IT YOU SHOULD TAKE SOME PICS AND POST IT TO THE DIY SECTION OF THE SITE.
