Hey all, I want to thank youfor all of your ideas and suggestions. I have been researching suspensions and would like to know what the real difference between coilovers versus springs, and which is the better route to take (cost vs. function and installation). Also, can someone recommend brands and inform me if I will need cambers, bushings etc. thanks again.

Springs lower your car a set amount, and i'm pretty sure coilovers are adjustable to how low you want your car. Some simple sets of lowering springs that you usually dont need a camber kit with are the Tein S-Techs and H-Techs. Both give a 1.5"-1.8" drop. I'm sure somebody will come on here and give some brand names of good coilovers, but i think coilovers replace the entire strut and to get a quality set that you wont need to replace anytime soon will be $700+ easily.

Hey jmr,
There is a group buy of Ksport coilovers at www.eghatchback.com. I'm buying a set myself. They are going for $600.00 for a set. You make a deposit of $300.00 and when the guy is ready to ship, he will ask for the other $300.00.
