Hey I'm new here but i just wanted some opinions on this....
I've got a friend who wants to trade his '97 DX w/ D16Y8 swap w/mods and its only has 30k miles for my stock '95 civic cx that has 114k miles + $2000.
heres a description of everything on it....
Its a silver hatchback dx with a d16y8 swap including...
dc sports header
obx cat-back ( and i have the stock muffler)
aem cam gear
dc sports short ram intake
aem fuel regulator
new wires and plugs
si shifter and shift ****
si center console
brand new bf goodrich t/a on the front and 60% tread on the back
brand new front calrion speakers
brand new pioneer mp3 player
new radiator

any opinions will be helpful.

 

Hey are you getting the 97 civic and 2000 for you r 95 civic

 

lol no...that would be nice....i would trade MY 95 civic and add $2000 for the 97 civic

 

I'd say do it. If that car has D16Y8 thats 127hp stock and only 30k great deal. Is that car 5sp or auto.

 

its a 5speed or i wouldnt even be considering the trade.

 

Than hell yea. Don't even hesitate. And besides you can do some sweet things to a hachback.

 

yeah, sounds good to me,if its all as clean as your car. dont get a tore up one if yours is nicer.

 

yeaaaa honestly his is in better condition then mine...his has a couple of dings
here and there......but mine has paint chippin on front bumper and rust on
rear pas. side wheel well and my friend doesnt even care

 

k, then the next question is why?

 

he wants to put a swap in my car........either b16 b18.....and the EG hatch is lighter...soo he doesnt care about looks i guess just that its fast
