Default To trade or not to trade?

I have a pretty good trade on my hands right now. I have a 95 hatchback. I like it...but the motor is a 1.5 D15b8...which is weak. Im thinking of trading it for this CRX...what are your thoughts? Im stuck! This would pretty much be a trade for a nice motor and good crx body. I would be painting it for sure.

the engine looks like it was installed niceley..the wire tuck looks good too...

just make sure you ask enough questions about the ccrx...figure out everything that has been done to it.

dito.... any mods that have been done to the car is very helpfull incase something breaks on it you need to know what to replace it with

and ya i saw your car on mautofied.....
just remember a more powerfull motor will hurt your gas milage as well.... you can easily do a SOHC zc or z6 vtec swap.

but with the crx definatly check the underbody for rust! i like crxs BUT they dont have a backseat so if ya want to haul much around or more than 1 more person your pretty much hit.LOL
i had a old 86crx before and it kinda sucked cause when you want to hang out with friends i always had to ride in there car because they couldnt fit in my crx.LOL

The 2 seater thing doesnt bother me. And thats what ive been thinking about....I would keep mine if a swap was affordable. But I cant find anything for under 800 bucks. I cant just do a head swap on this engine...its only an 8 valve. Where can you find a decent priced SOHC at for a swap? Im sick of a having no power.

Wow. I like that car alot.. Usually I think the stickers, vynls and other things just look stupid on cars. But I acutally like that alot.

Ask the guy all he knows about it. Then maybe a carfax. If it looks good and you can trade straight across. DO IT!

The pig is painted on. So theres no taking it off unfortunatly. Id also have to paint the hood. If I were to get it, it already has a new exhaust, coilovers, and of course what you see under the hood. I think I might ride down to meet him and give it a test drive and take a good look at it. If I keep mine..Im doing new suspension, painting the OEM front bumper I just got, and a couple little small things. Then a swap on top of all that one day.

Heh...Even when I was running a 16 valve D15 I would've made that trade without a second thought.
