sorry to hear about the rex, man... it was a nice little car.

But to add to what addiction said (since he really didn't come right out and say it), you can find d16z6's around for almost nothing. And selling the non-vtec is a good idea, too.

I guess people in KY are just greedy then. Our craigslist never has anything under $500. Thats the cheapest Ive seen. I could order one of the ebay JDM motors for like $650.

ya if its garenteed id say thats your best bet! ive heard of alot of shady people selling bad motors talking like they where good....

you could always buy my 94 for 3K bucks.LOL
complete 5speed, Z6 and a coupe to sell as a shell after ya strip what you want out of it.... swap all the power options into your hatch so you have power locks, windows, cruise control, everything BUT NO AC....

ive been thinking hard AGAIN about selling the EG. i love a 5speed but its geting warm out and im a pus when it comes to AC.LOL
plus i just cant get these credit cards paid off enough to stay low.... and i need... well want new struts for my 99 so i can lower it again. and it needs a new battery as well...

So why dont you put an a/c in it? Duh. The Pull a Part junk yard by me sells the entire a/c out of any car for 86 bucks...soon as i see one, its mine.

I dont use credit...anything I cant pay for all at once isnt worth using credit...unless its a house payment.

ya i know.... i try to keep from doing so BUT sometimes i just want something and i fall into the desire.... its always into modifying my cars.LOL started out with my trucks shaved door handles and rollpan, continued to lowering the 99civic, then my 94civic.... and pretty soon back to the 99civic.LOL
thats why if i can pay off my credit cards im gonna close them all but 2.... way less tempting when you cannt use them anymore!!!!

ive thought about going to my bank and seeing about a loan to pay them all off, at least that way i would only have one bill a month instead of 5 spaced out.... i just dont want a lein on the 99 and if i put one on the 94 it could be a hassle if someone is very interested in buying it.....
not sure what to do. ill try a loan straight up and see what they say.
