Default Tuner scene fading out?

With how gas prices going, and with all these hybrid cars popping, up stricter smog regulations, do you think our scene is fading out?

deffinately not. we have fast and the furious, midnight club, grand turismo, juiced, and forza to thank for that (not necissarily a good thing).

My state (Kentucky) just banned emmsions testing, and if anything "racing" and tuning is getting even bigger. the only problem is, its mostly kids in jettas and mustangs driving around town in front of the movie thatres.(As far as I know there no local drag strip)

People are always going to want to mod and go faster and race. I read somewhere the other day that the Civic is the modern day '55 Chevy. As long as there is adrenaline, there will be tuning. If the future brings hybrids, we'll all be out there trying to get more juice from our batteries, or hydrogen combustion or whatever.

i think that its just going to get bigger. the mustang guys are starting to get beat more and more by these little cars, then they see we still get 25-35 mpg in our 13 second cars, and they will come over eventually.

i agree with everyone else, this is just the beginning, this is much more than a scene for many people this is a way of life, people work their full-time jobs in hopes with every paycheck to bring them closer to that next mod, when people sit down to relax they pick up their latest issue of IMPORT TUNER or HONDA TUNING, and when they go to bed they dream sweet dreams of blowoff valves and mustangs in their rear view mirrors, my question to you is can a way of life fade out...i think not. can i get an 'AMEN'?
