hi every1! im brad from the uk, im going lookin' at a civic hatchback 99 today, pretty sure i want to buy it, just need that test drive. Its done only 40,000 miles so i reckon it should be in good nick yea?! just wondering, its a 1.4, will it have 8valves? or 16? cheers

 

i think 16... never really seen an 8 personally

 

they are different in the US, but i am pretty sure that anything made in 99 will have 16.

What I meant was ( and im not sure if my thinking is right on this one) doesnt 8 valve consume less that 16 correct?
