ok, well in light of recent sightings...im going to state this very clearly for the CAR noobies.....*cough* cough*


THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A V4!!!!

What did the old VWs have where the engine was verticle or something? My autoshop teacher always brought it up to "stress the diversity of engines."

yeah i know..im talkin about cars.

and yes they had a few v4's back in the day by british and german ford. honda also made a few bikes with a v4 motor. and the old school v4 was a start to VW's VR6.


so let me re phrase that. a 4cyl these days is NOT a V4.

makin me get all technical

So if I dont have a V4 it must be a V6. Thats why it feels so fast.

Ok...these days that may be the case....as I recall, however, Subaru made a V-4 in the 80's (boy I really feel old right now)
