what do you guys think about rims? I wanna go black with a chrome lip but im not sure about the size. Im thinking 18's. What size do you think is the best for an 01 lx sedan? (stock is 14)

 

personally I think huge rims are stupid. I acutually like stock stuff dosent look to big on cars. welcome to the forum since you ARE in the welcoming section.

first off...welcome to the forum... and umm if you look at mill$civic's car, you will see black with chrome lip...it looks hot as hell on his...not on every car thought...umm..next, personally i would say dont go over 16's. a lot of people on here would say dont go over 17's, but 16 is plenty...its a nice look!

I have soild black 16s which i love I am not to fond of the chrome lip get chrome or black is my choice.But my car has chrome on the window weather strip which the crome might set off you you also do.

 

I have 18's on my car but I think you should have a lip kit or body kit before you put big rims on your car. 16's or 17's should be good for a fairly stock car.

 

i like 17s... cause 18s would realy put some tiny rubber around the rims! im already scared about hiting a pot hole!!!!!!!!

im a big fan of the black/polished lip rims!!!!! thats what i realy want! but i got these preaty cheap so im happy!
tho if i can find some i definatly gonna get some!!!!!!

 

Yeah the bigger the rims, the smaller the tire gets. And you start feeling the road a lot on thinner tires.
