Default What's good HCF?

Hi everyone, my names Brian. Im 21 and i live in central NY. Im currently attending a local college for automotive technology, but plan to possibly move on to a larger school like Wyotech or UTI after this year. i just wanted to be around the fam in the meantime uk? anyways, i've had vtec on tha brain since about the age of 15 and i haven't been able to shake it since haha. i have owned 5 different hondas, a 87 accord hatch carb. auto., a 93 civic ex 4dr 5spd, a 99 accord v6 auto, a 98 civic ex 2dr 5spd <3, and finally my current car a 90 civic hatch w/ d16z6 5spd swap & a modest lil' turbo setup @7psi. i only lightly modded the 99, and did a moderate amount of mods on the 98. with the 90 now im set on a path of massive mods, and i figure what better place to come now then HCF? i hope to be an excellent addition to the community, and i can't wait to start interacting with other enthusiasts such as myself! i plan begin new modifications to my 90 sometime in the not too distant future, starting with upgrading the turbo setup.

Welcome. Nice hatch... not sure how I feel about the paint though.

And if you plan on going to Wyotech's Blairsville (PA) campus, have fun. There's not much to do in that area unless you feel like making the hour-long drive to Pittsburgh. Greensburg (about 30 minutes away) isn't bad, but it gets boring fast.

ahaha yea thats exactly the first thought i had when i saw the car, haven't totally decided on a new color yet... want to keep the rims so i was thinkn either si black pearl (or some variation on it) or possibly go off the beaten trail with some random thing like acura orange lol. totally open to your guys' opinions so lemme hear it.

and thanks ill keep that in mind when that time comes around

Just as a random cool fact, I live in New Alexandria which is about 5 minutes away from Blairsville and yes other than Gburg and Monroeville/Pittsburgh area it's a ghost town.

Yup, like I've already told kingakota, I grew up in Somerset County (~75 minutes southeast of Blairsville), so I know the area pretty well. Indiana and Blairsville have nothing going for them.

As far as Acura paints, I'm wondering what Blaze Metallic Orange (the RSX/Honda Fit paint) would look like on an EF. If not, I've always been a fan of Granada Black Pearl

Welcome to the site, nice hatch! Turbo's are a lot of fun... And I don't think the color is too terrible, at least it looks like it was done pretty well. I think EBP from the 99-00 Si (Electron Blue Pearl) looks great on any car. However, I am somewhat partial. By the way I'm not a fan of body kits, but I love that kit on EF's. That's a Mugen replica kit if I'm not mistaken, correct?

EDIT: Just a tip, I think you should remove the headlights/bumper lights and get black housing headlights, with amber corners and amber or smoked bumper lights.
