Default where should i start

I just bought a 93 Civic Dx Coupe was wondering where should i start for moding it, also where should i watch for problems it does have high mileage. Other than the mileage the car is perfect but stock.

Make sure you know where you are with the timing belt. That's crucial to owning a Honda. It's expensive (usually unless you do it yourself) and important. If it goes, then you're engine's shot and it's time to look for a B-series engine to swap it for. It should be changed about every 100,000 miles. If you know when it was last changed, then you're good to go and can plan for it.

As for your modding. I'm rather new at this, so this will be a learning experience for us both. However, you need to decide what's of higher priority to you and how much money you have to work with. What I mean is, do you want a flashy car or a fast car (if you're loaded, then do it all at once). Personally, I prefer fast to flashy...

This is the point where others take the reins to this thread. Enjoy.

From what I have learned, for the most part the general consensus is to start with the suspension. Especially if you have an engine swap in your plans. It wouldn't make sense to spend thousands on an engine and put it on a suspension on it's last leg.

Welcome Aboard!!!
