Another fuel mangement question
I know SmokingMC just posted a similar question but it didn't really answer my question. I am planning on getting into Uberdata just as soon as humanly possible, but in the mean time I need some better (more) fuel delivery.
I have the Jackson Racing Auxilliary FPR but I dont' think it's adjustable. I installed the Walbro 255 but I am still running lean. I have been getting differing opinions on where to go from here.
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator with a pressure gauge to raise the static pressure and deliver it to larger injectors. 310's maybe?? OR a FMU such as Vortech 12:1 going to my stockers. Someone rationalized that there weren't any factory F/I cars with FMU but there are many many with regulators and properly sized injectors with the ECU to control pulse width. Other opinions ssay that the pressure needs to be raised proportionally to the boost pressure. I am lost. The FMU would definitely be the cheaper route, but Adj FPR and injectors wouldn't be that much more.
So... you guys tell me. Static pressure increase and larger injectors or a FMU and stick with the stockers?

youve got the 10 pounder on there still? i would go with the injectors i think. on a return fuel system you really might get away without the FPR. the stock one will see the same pressure and so it will keep the pressure the same even with bigger injectors, but still flow more fuel than the stock injectors.
Actually I did see that the 240? has 270cc injectors. Is that right? What other car you talkin' bout, Willis?
I saw that you told fast93 that 450cc's would be overkill, 270-310's would get it done?
I don't think it's actually a 10 pounder. It says, "15-20% more boost" and Jackson Racing finally got back to me and said it's ~ 8 pounds.

thats better then. i would try to pick up some prelude injectors. i can never remember which ones you need, but your car is either peak and hold, or saturated, and preludes had both kinds at one time or another. so just get the right ones from that for 270s, or go with some used DSM 310s.
here's some that I found on ebay from a 2000 lude, it says they're 290cc saturated, so I think the only thing needed would be the injector clips.
