Anyone here using the ZEX dry kit on a y8?
n2o........ A 55 shot does not mean a 55whp gain, n2o like so many other mods are for 1 rated at the crank and for 2 depend on much more that the "shot" you use. A 55 shot dry will be fine on the stock fuel pump, injectors, and maybe ok on the stock tune. The 96-00 ex's use a rising rate fuel system meaning if the map notice's a rise in air in the air/fuel mix it will compensate to a certain point and it should be fine with a 35-55 dry shot. but I honestly suggest you go with a 75 shot wet kit. You will see more of a gain for your money, it will be safer, and in the end it dont cost to much more.
I got the kit, FPR, and gauge in. In about a week, it should be tuned on the dyno ready to go to the track to see what she can run. I can't wait. Im gonna run the 55 shot and sometimes the 65 shot. Ign will be retarded at least 1 degree and I'll be using 2 step colder NGK plugs. I'll let you guys know what kind of numbers it puts down as soon as it's all tuned up and eveything! Thanks for all the responses!
