if you rebuild the motor then i would go the turbo route. if you are just looking for boost i would get a jackson racing supercharger and run like 5 psi because the kit is actualy ment for a b18c5
Talk about heat problems...

Boosting a C5/ITR is stupid IMO

I don't like relying on water/meth. If it fails, kaboom.

X2

just put a type r trans on a poor mans type r motor (b18c1 block/b16a head) and youll make a lot more useable power reliably.

Type R trans is just a bad idea overall. The gearing is waaaaayyy too short for what you're going to be trapping, not to mention it's going to make for all kinds of traction issues.

Meh, if you're worried about one thing failing with catestrophic results, you've gotten into the wrong hobby.

The gearing on my Si is rediculously short. Like at 80 mph im doing 4-5 rpms in 5th gear!

You gonna tell Sacs the same thing?

Apples and oranges. No amount of wishful thinking is going to change the fact that water and methanol injection systems are unreliable.

I appoloigize, I keep forgetting that you're the authority on ALL THINGS AUTOMOTIVE these days.. gimme a break

Yes, I will tell everyone the same thing. If you're going to be a bitch, and worry about every little thing all the time, then you shouldn't be tuning cars, end of story.

As for water/meth, it's still being developed, everything sucks in it's early stages.
