ive been reading the threads on here for a week or so, but ive been wondering about engine mods i should do prior to going with a turbo?
since turbo is rather pricey, and since im sure i want to do it eventually (so i/h/e is a no go), what might i look into first that will be helpful in strengthening my engine for the increased stress? im very new to all this, but this forum has been a godsend. ive got an 06 si, from what ive been led to believe its pretty different than the earlier civics so past threads have given me a general idea, but i have this feeling when the time comes for a turbo itll be a pain (not that it wouldnt be in the first place). it just seems like the engine bay is more under the dash than older civics, anyone really work on an 06+ here yet?

 

well IMO i dont think theres much more to do before you turbo it becides make sure you have EVERYTHING. i took my car apart and had to have friends drive me to the parts store to buy little things that i forgot. id'e double check you've got everythign before you take anything apart
