Hey guys, im turboing my d16y8, and im new to the game, i tried petes list but couldnt find any parts (here in canada), the guy at the local tuner shop recomended the full-race kit for 3500$ because it comes with everything and is very reliable, and by the look of his car he knows what hes talking about (one of the top ranked drifers around or something). How much on top of this will i be paying for fuel management and tune approx. He said I would need to convert to obd1, and should use hondata, he also said they tune for 80$ (which sounds low, since everybody is always saying "save up for a good tune")

so if u guys could just give my ur opinions on this setup, and how much you think it might cost in the end

well for hondata your looking at another 250-500 bucks depending on what model you get. also you could chip a p28 and then run crome or neptune on it. crome is free and im not sure about neptune. also 80 bucks for a tune is good. is that just a street tune im guessing? also you have to get a conversion harness which is obd2b to obd1 and that can be around 70 bucks. so i would have to say 600 extra bucks on top of that if you go with hondata. if you go with a chipped p28 you can get that for 160 shipped and that would be around 250-300 for everything. so there are some options. also pm me and i can show you some stuff for cheap with kits and whatnot.
