clocking a turbo?
So my TD05H turbo's compressor outlet is pointing up instead of down making it very difficult to run piping to it. I have heard about clocking a turbo before, which Im assuming is just basically twisting the turbo to point in a different direction, and was wondering exactly how you would go about doing that. Also, it has an internal wastegate and im wondering what you do with it once the turbo has been turned? Just some general help on the subject would be great.
Sorry but a basic glance at that seemed like it was making it to hard. Its simple, where the compressor housing connects with the center portion, its held on by 6-8 12mm or 14mm bolts with bars streaching between them, loosen, rotate housing, tighten. Takes 3 minutes.
Well thanx for the help guys but it's a TD05H and there arent any bolts on the exhaust or the compressor side, just a sort of center clasp-like thing that wraps all around the whole center section in the middle that Im assuming holds it together like the bolts do on a t3. Any idea what to do with it? Should I just take it to a performance shop and see what they can do with it?

red2000si, can you post a pic?
Hey, sorry forty but my computer sucks *****. If you go on ebay or look at just about any small mistubishi turbo (13b,14b,16g etc.) it has the same kind of center clasp thing. Let me know what you think.
New question: I just went to a very reputable speed shop near my house to have the turbo checked out and everything looks pretty much perfect but they told me they thought it was too small for my motor and all I would be doing is moving my power from 6k-8k down to 3k-6k and it would be tough to make 210whp with it in my b16a2. Now correct me if Im wrong here but I do believe that the TD05H 14b is bigger than the t25? My friend with a b16a2 si had a t25 in his car and it was nasty quick. Help me clear things up. Should I start looking for a bigger turbo or stay with this one? I already have a manifold flanged for this turbo and Im only looking for about 210-220 whp. Thanx.
