cooling the turbo

Default cooling the turbo

well its just an idea i had yesterday i dont know it might be totally stupid but just want some views?
Do you think it is possible you could cool your intercooler with an a/c unit some how? use the a/c to blow straight onto the intercooler? or something any ideas? or views on this idea?

they have kits like that, they are called intercooler sprayers and mount on the front of the intercooler and spray a mist over it just like you see at plant places.. but they compress co2 in a bottle and then sprays it on the intercooler very coldly to lower temps and raise hp

aw so someone has beaten me to that idea i thought it would be great! is it worth doing how much are the kits? i'll have a look around at them now

depends on the kit theres DEI, NOS, nitrious express... depending on which bottle you go with 5lbs, 10lbs,15lbs the most i have seem them go for is like 500 bucks for the WHOLE kit

I think the ford lightning concept was using it's ac to cool the intake charge...
