Default copper tubing for my oil pressure sensor?

Do you guys or ladies think copper lines is a good way to connect my oil pressure sensor of my gauge to my oil sandwich adapter. I want to mount my sensor to my firewall after reading this article,
http://www.theoldone.com/articles/oilpressure/

here's the copper tubing i'm talking about,
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1∂=ATM%2D3224&N=70 0+400442+300140+115&autoview=sku

I would like to run braided ss lines but for forty bucks ( been spending too much money already on the car[&:]) that I'll go with copper lines..... but would the copper line be flexible enough to do the loop thing from the article?

Thanks,

Oh, does anyone know if they make 52mm gauges that measure how much fuel you are using.... like the ones that come in luxury cars that tell you how many miles per gallon your are getting? (because i need one more gauge to fill in the third hole in my 3 gauge pillar)
