Default Just bought 1999 CIVIC with 35k it had copper plugs is that strange?

Hey guys im new im sorry if i posted this in the wrong spot..

I just bought a 1999 Honda civic LX with 35k. I had service records showed that the PW and ps belts were changed at around 30k. The Raditor was flushed at around 20k. Check the tranny and it looks good.. im assuming that all i have to do? I was going to replace the fuel filter

THen the orignal plugs were the NGK ZFR5F11-- i REPLACED THEM WITH ZFR5IX-11 INSTEAD... and put a new wix airfilter

Does anyone no when Honda changed there sparkplugs to IX plugs.. For some reason i thought my 2000 HX civic came with IX plugs from factory... Am i wrong..

The oil to run in it is 5w30? When did honda change to the 5w20? thanks

steven

NGK V-power are the OEM spark plugs for your car. You just wasted like $20 extra buying iridium plugs.

5W-30 is the correct oil weight...

Transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles. It is highly likely that it has never been changed before. Use OEM Honda fluid.

Inspect trans fluid and put back into the trans? no...... Once it is out, just replace it.
