Im thinking about boosting ol Black Fang in the near future. She still has her original muscle (d16y7). For $2975 i can get the Drag turbo kit. Is it copacetic? or should i look into getting somethig else, or should i even boost the lil hatch at all?.... questions.. comments..?

Drag kits are good, you could piece together a kit for cheaper but if you have the cash to blow by all means do it, much easier. Post a link to the kit please?

 

Yeah, i was thinking about just saving up to buy one. I love working on cars but this is my only vehicle so i cant keep it N/A for too long, or my wife will start trippin. and i'd rather pay than hear complaining from her, LOL

Your still going to need a chipped ecu, injectors, boost gauge, and other small stuff. You should research more about turboing cars b4 you do this.

Also your wife is going to bitch at you because she doesnt have a turbo charged car?

 

aw another attempt to boost a d16y7... good luck dont hit a tree a week before you put the turbo on..

 

^2 yeah im doing all the research i can. im definitely going to measure all my possibilities before or IF i get it. We have a pretty good custom shop here in the Detroit Metro area that should be able to hook me up w/ everything i need. i think that kit comes with a boost gauge.
and BTW.. technically it is my wifes car... im living vicariously through her civic
