Turbo's are load based, IE throttle based. You can be at 7000rpms but if you're only at 15% TPS you won't be boosting.
i imainge that stands for something dealing with how hard you push down on the gas pedal? Thanks for the info guys....my bad bout givvin the wrong info too

EDIT: and load, meaning how hard the gas pedal is pushed as well?

Like the others said, I too can go all the way to 9,000 RPM and not hit boost.

^ Saabs unite! haha

But again, low RPM boost/quick spooling turbos would be bad for your DD's MPG
NOPE! Turbos are spooled by "load" not rpm . I've said this before but I'll say it again, with my tiny *** t25 turbo, I could go all the way redline without ever touching even a pound of boost, none!
Even cruisin in 5th gear?

Vacuum is a negative pressure, not positive. I don't think you are sucking air out of your motor heh.

Where is all this vacuum stuff coming from anyway?

All n/a cars work in vacuum, they are sucking air in instead of it being forced in.

pushing down hard on the pedal gets you into boost, but slowly creeping up one the RPMs will keep you in vaccum? Correct?
