anyone ever buy a trubo off ebay? i found a complete kit for $700

That kit is too good to be true, but you can get good stuff off of ebay. Look for used GReddy kits and turbonetics kits. They are good kids.

 

ebay is good, but generic turbo kits (such as the one you are tlaking about) is bad news. GReddy is always a good brand, look for a used kit on Ebay, thats probably your best bet if you dont got alot of money to spend.

 

yes stay away from those kits, I have a friend at work that was so pumped about buying a kit off ebay for 800, but i talked him out of it finally

 

Ihave seen a decentamountof positive responses on these kits, but many more negative ones. Some guys run em tuned with no issues and said they work great...some slap em on and the turbo spits oil after 2 days or the bov dies... Its a total coin flip so if you dont want to gamble dont buy it

 

When I worked my turbo, I bought various items off of ebay, and liek everyone said its hit or miss. However ebay is a good place to start especially if you dont have alot of money. I bought a Greddy intercooler from a guy for just over 100 bones...talk about CHEAP...woohoo...
