Default external wastegate problems

i have an external wastegate on my turbo system.when i bought the car the guy told me i would have to fix a couple of things be for the turbo would work right. ok, the wastegate is attatched to the headers on the inlet side but what actually attatches to the outlet side of my wastegate. is it a blowoff valve with an actuator or is it something ive never heard of. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

on the wastegate you have two vaccum fittings. the one on top goes to a boost controller which you probably dont have so leave it alone. the one on the side goes to a vaccum source perferably closer the throttle body the better

Get that fixed pronto! You can get a flange from atpturbo.com for it, and then pick up some stock civic piping. Make a dump tube that travels out under the car, that way when your wastegate opens up you're not spewing exhaust into your engine bay for your turbo to breath in and use.
