Turbo catch cans need a vent, the idea of the catch can is to ventilate crankcase pressure. A close system is N/A, so you probably won't be able to use the one you have.

MBCs are ok, only one I would really ever use is the TurboXS MBC, I personally use an electronic one.

SOV, i dont understand. I bought the catch can to use on my turbo setup. IN order to relieve the pressure. I am not sure how to hook it up, that is what i/m asking. I was just wondering if i remove the old na stock vent case when installing the catch can. Basically im just tryin to see how this thing hooks up.

Ok the MBC from turboxs, thanks

Also are all b series valve keepers the same size? i was installing the springs and for some reason i had some springs sitting flush with the valve and others the valve would stick up a little. i think i got my keepers mixed up from another hondaengine. i got a b16a2 head, are there different size keepers?

the exhaust and intake keepers are slightly different sizes. i got them mixed up so i removed all the springs i compressed and straightened that out.

SOV, 3in exhaust with only a muffler? How loud is that? I actually want something that has adequate flow but not ***** to the wall loud. 2.75in with a resonator and muffler, is that a good idea?

I have a post in the want section, ineed some "small" engine parts for a b18a1. flywheel bolts, crankshaft main bolt/washer, timing covers, and the lower timing gear with 2 spacers that goes on the crank. check the post out and let me know if u got any of these.

holla

3" with only a muffler is pretty loud, not unbearable though. People will know you're coming for sure.

Catch can is pretty simple. Run a hose from the valve cover to one port on the catch can, run another from the black box on the back of the block. That's that, but like I said, the catch can needs to be vented to the atmosphere or else you're not doing anything for yourself at all.

I don't have any Bseries parts though, sorry dude.

I will step in and say that if he were to add two resonators it will sound just like mine. Mine isnt really loud at all.

Yeah, the more resonators you add the quieter it gets, friend of mine has that done and the car sound very nice. Deep, low, and quiet (well, compared to mine lol).

My car sounds very raw, resonators will smooth out the sound a bit.

I just wanted to say thanks for this thread, these are the ones that help the site. They are direct specific questions (not of the "how much psi can I run" variety), and I have already learned a lot just from reading it. Thank you kdogg for researching before posting, and thanks to the posters, especially sovxietday, who are helping.

no, thank you guys for helping me. i get my questions answered everday!

SOV, so how do i vent the catch can to the atmosphere? If i hook one end to the valve cover and the other to the box how doesthat benefit anything? How do i get the most from the catch can?

Exhaust,do the resonators restrict flow? Or only damper sound?I wanna go with a magnaflow muffler, what brand resonator do uuse Remmy? If they restrict flow is using 2 wise? Any clarification on the resonators willbe helpful.

thanks again
