gas on oil dipstick?

Default gas on oil dipstick?

hey guys checked my oil today and the dipstick smells like there is gas on it. how could that be?

You're rings are shot or your cylinders are no longer round.

ill tell you it definatly means ya need a rebuild!!!!!!

gas in the oil is bad! and if you keep driving with it it will definatly trash your bearings!!!!!

well ya if ya flooded it that bad it could have some... drain your oil and change filter ASAP..

its posible thats all it is..... BUT only way to know is to change the oil and filter and KEEP AN EYE/nose on your dip stick!!!!!! if it gets gas smeel to it again... then its something worse


only time ive had gas in my oil is with my old 66impala it had a bad fuel pump which was pumping gas right into the motor since it was mechanical pump on the motor... but with newer cars fuel pumps are in the tanks.. so that cannt be it.lol

if gas stays in the cylinder it will wash out your rings seaping by them and down into your bottom end

maybe try some of that engine restor or maybe some seafoam and maybe that will eat the gas up. that are on the rings, its sappost to loosen rings back up so they seal better. worth a shot

o ya engine restorer work preaty good for small issues... not sure abotu gas seepage but does help some burning oil...
