Default how many psi?

how many psi of boost is safe to run on a d16y8 stock with intake and cat back exhaust as a daily driver?

I would say to be on the safe side 6 psi. Some will say that it can handle a little more, which it can, but if you are using this as your daily driver, why risk it? Good Luck!

Well, you wont need an intake. Maybe think about doing some internet research and building your knowledge of what a turbo really is, what it does, how it works, and why.... Best advise I can give is to know as much as you possibly can, before even beginning to piece a kit together.

Thsi is too general of a question to answer because boost pressure does not matter so much

Right, Its HORSEPOWER, not boost. Your car can safely handle like 200 horsepower on a good tune.

It all depends on turbo like already mentioned but my friend is running 11psi all day no problems from a 14b turbo.

Berz out.
