Theres a ZEX Wet kit for sale here somewhere, get that and run a 50 shot.

just don't put nos on if you are running a high pressured turbo. Well you could put it on, just don't use it.

I have the same question about how safe it is but I am running a mostly stock B16 I know that a wet kit would be best but I figure I would probally become somwhat triggerhappy with it so the question is am I gonna blow up my motor because of using NOS eventhoe I would only be using a small 50 shot??

What if you time the nitrous so it only sprays when the turbo is spooling, and you slowly back the nitrous off as the boost pressure builds?

Nitrous is forced induction, just like a turbo or supercharger setup. Running low amounts on a proper tune WITH proper fuel management will not cause any problems. Do your research, dont just slap a kit on and see how it works. Do it right and it will be fine on a stock motor. Just keep the levels low. Running nitrous on a street turbo setup is just foolish, youre better off running a bit more boost on a better tune. "that things got enough nos to blow itself up" -Ja Rule......What a handjob.

like pete said, nitrous is forced induction. forced induction, in simplest terms, means getting more air in the engine. whether by compressing it (turbo/SC) or putting a gas in that contains more oxygen than normal air (nitrous), thats all forced induction means.

nitrous is the same principal as a turbocharger or supercharger. get more air in the engine. the chemical compound is N2O, meaning two nitrogen molecules bonded to an oxygen molecule. that means that 1/3 of the gas is oxygen, as opposed to the 20% (or 1/5) in the atmosphere. basically, it means that you are getting about 40% more oxygen than on normal air, meaning about 40% more power. thats nitrous theory about as simply as it gets.

ps. the point of this post is to help with the research that pete suggested.
