I think I have everything??!!
Hey guys, sorry haven't been posting for a while, got a promotion and had to relocate and such. My motor is supposed to be done this week so I'm going to list everything I have for the turbo project in my 97 civic. If you see nething I have left out let me know what I need so I can order it should be putting in the motor and installed turbo by mid October.
Head-Fully built with skunk parts, stage IV racing cams, ported on intake side, head studs, 9500 Redline
Block- 8:6:1 forged pistons, Eagle H-beam forged rods, blockguard, bored .020 over, honed crank(so shiny).new oil/water pumps
t3/t4 hybrid turbo w/external gate, front mount intercooler, RFL bov.
AEM fuel rail, 450 injectors, high flow fuel pump, Skunk Racing Intake manifold.
Stage IV clutchmaster racing clutch 6-puck.
35,000 mile tranny from 98 ex.
Greddy E-manage, chipped p28 ecu w/adapter, Wideband A/F.
I think this is it. I know that axles are a worry obviously but I don't have the money to invest 500 in them, they have lifetime warranties so I guess I'll just replace them when they break. I'm also going to buy an apexi AVCR to control boost in each gear. Any recommendations for boost levels for each gear to avoid loosing TOO much traction. Was thinking 7 in first, 10 in second, 12 in third, 16 in fourth???? Really just guesses for me. Anyways any comments are appreciated, and anyone in the northwest who wants to help shout at me :P Anyone from a major city who is an expert, I could arrange airfair if you wanted to help also. I have a friend who knows his ****, but he isn't very reliable and I don't have time to F* around lol, I just need this done. Haven't drivin the civ in 6 months!! Thanks everyone.

I hope you got a fairly large t3/t4. Your gona need to pump a whole lotta air into that engine with the low c/r pistons and it bored out. Get some stickier tires so you can run more boost because that engine can definetly handle it. Only thing is, I'd get sleeves instead of a block gaurd.
Hehe $$ is always an issue, but when you want something you make it happen. I think I'm going to top my boost out at about 16 psi. I think my motor could handle 20-22 but I don't want to push it to its breaking point. I figure at 16psi I can push over 300 to the crank maybe 315. My goal is to hit mid 12's on the track with drags, low 13's on the street. I'd be happy with that.
Trust me. With that engine, you won't be running 16 psi for long. It's just too addictive to not go higher. Just make sure you get it tuned well, and you should be fine at about 20. You might need bigger injectors for 20 though.
