Turbo or k20 Swap on d17 Engine

Which one would you Pick?

 

id go turbo personally, especially if you do all the work yourself. At the end it shows a 2 grand difference so if you go turbo, you have 2 grand left to play with which will get you over 200 hp. Well t his is assuming you piece together a kit.

 

I would go K20. But if it was a Turbo D16, i would go turbo. d17 is a bad platform for boost.

 

[sm=nxsmile.gif]...................and start saving fora K20 to replace the blown D17.

 

maybe run a low level of boost on the D17 and see what kind of fuel management i can come up with, eitehr try an Emanage, or drop the money on an AEM and go from there.

K20 swap is just intense, maybe if i had the funds and some guys with knowledge on it, i might try, but other than that thats over my head [&:]

but what would i have if it was given to me? K20 swap ftw! [8D]

 

k20.....but thats just me, thats what i am saving for the next 100 years of my life for.

 

I feel the same way as u do. I have a delsol si. It comes with the sohc vtec. I`m making it to a show car, but i`m going to turbo it. I can`t figure out if i want to put a B18 or h20 in it.
