did you fix the overheating problem??

your new problem sounds like a fuel problem, check the fuel pump... my car did that and cured itself, but my problem was a glitch in my ecu i think..

what are you tuned on? PLEASE TELL ME YOUR TUNED

Don't 4th gens have big problems with their main relays? That might be your problem.

not even boosted yet so im not tuned. but in the end had to tow it to my mechanic who will diagnos the problem for free from there im going to probably fix it. when i spoke to him before the car got their he said he thought it might be the fuel pump so well see tmmr. This turbo is going to take much longer than expected i by far am not making enough money but hopefully within the next year ill have it done.

Also..I noticed your conversion harness problem in your list...I think you told me you had a y8 swapped in there (didnt look for a vtak solenoid in the pic) but if it is swapped...you should have an obd2 ecu unless it was already converted to obd1. I dont know if it's possible to convert it to obd0 but I dunno, just a thought. Get some pics of the engine block code and the ecu

I'd like to start this post off with :'(. Apparently to get my civic to pass smog my mechanic says if he does it its going to be around $2k. The cost is so much because the wiring on this car was done so horribly when the dpfi was changed to mpfi. exhaust is leaking catback is destroyed, there are so many problems with this engine/wiring/ everything. Although I love this car the body is in goodish condition so i want to keep it. Ive been thinking about swapping a D16ZC into it but my boss at work (idk how much he actually knows about hondas) says that it wont pass smog with this motor? Hail i bet you would know if this is right and some advise. I want to buy it online so that i can get a Waranty. So the turbo plan might be out of the question. The mechanic will be done next week when i find out how much it will cost ill make my decision.
