water injection is totally legal... its basically doing the same job as an intercooler. It sprays a fine mist of water into your intake when you are under heavy boost. The mist of water cools the air that is being sucked into the intake. It is a very fine mist and is fully absorbed so no water ever enters the blower or the combustion chamber. Cooler air adds horsepower and reduces the chances of knock.

Adding methanol to teh mix further cools the air, like nitrous does... best to use a 50/50 mix of distilled water and methanol. Snow Performance even sells "boost juice" which is pre-mixed water/methanol.

Every 10 degrees colder your intake air temperature is you will see a 1% gain in horsepower.

here is my setup... you can see the injector mounted on the intake:

I tapped the windshield washer reservoir and just use that as my water/methanol tank:

Thanks for the pics too! What size pulley would be good for my car do you think?

not sure... each supercharger uses a different sized pulley as normal. Ill look into it and see what JR runs. Its probably going to come stock pushing about 7.5-8 lbs of boost... mine for example runs 7.5lbs of boost and its a 2.4" pulley from teh factory. Im running a 2.3" pulley and im pushing a hair under 10 lbs. Boost is also affected by things like elevation, weather, load and different intake/exhaust combinations... Run it with the stock pulley first for a little while and get a feel for it, then you will know about how much you can stand to go up in boost.

with mine anything over 12-13 lbs is a waste since it creates a ton of heat at that point, and heat is a horsepower killer. That is the downside to a roots blower but the positives are reliability, ease of installation, and incredible low end power.

Alright, cool. Sorry for all the questions haha, but with the Snow Performance Kit I was looking on the site and they have this stuff called Nitro Booster (http://www.snowperformance.net/product.php?pk=5) and I was wondering if it actually works and how to use it?

not really sure, havent looked into it too much but I know what you are talking about.

EDIT: It does just what it says on teh discription... you add it to your water/methanol mix and it will increase hp output. that estimate is for high output motors but you would probably see 15-25hp maybe. Added wear on your motor so I wouldnt use it too much.

I'm having some trouble finding a stage 1 cam that fits my engine. They're all for the VTEC engines.

heres another alkie/water methanol injection site

http://www.alcohol-injection.com/

jr has a good supercharger

its what i have..

and i have the smaller pulley set up soo i can run mostly 11 psi-- but sometimes it reads around 15-18.. soo depends how its going...

another thing to cool ur engine is a cryo2 system made by dei. i have that... its like a giant paintball tank... that attaches to ur intake that has a bulb... and then u can add purge kits and all sorts of stuff.. ne whoo.. any questions let me know.. later..
