Lowered Compression + Same Level of Boost. Results = ?

okay when to HondaPartsDeals.com and found what i wanted though, but there's 3 sets of rings. Which ones should i pick? CLICK ME, IT'S PART #002

You pick the ones that will fit your pistons [8D]
You could assume that you probably have standard pistons, but if your car has an unknown history it's possible the engine was rebuilt at 25 over... there's no way to know for sure until you pull it apart

Get the engine apart before you buy your rings!
And honestly, I'm confused, what were all of your FINAL numbers. Were they all within a few psi of each other, or was one drastically lower than the other. Just because it took a few more seconds to register really doesn't mean much, the compression is still building and holding which means that nothing is leaking.
What were you final compression numbers for each cylinder, those will tell you whether or not you have a problem, if they're relatively the same don't worry about the engine and just go have fun.

all the cylinders registered 115, atleast within less than 5 psi of each other. Kind of low....and the last cylinder took just SLIGHTLY longer to get up to that number.
The numbers don't really mean much, it's much more important that all the numbers are the same. I say you stop being paranoid and just ****ing boost the thing. If it blows, oh well, you can get good Dseries engines for $200 all day, often times even less. You'll be paying a lot more than that just to rering the dumb thing.
well none of this wait is because of paranoia, its no $$. But im working quite a bit now (specially over break), so as soon as i can order my ECU, i just need to have the install and tune. There are quite a few things i've mounted/installed early (Intercooler, gauges, turbo timer (not hooked up to power though), andmounted vac mani and resistor box) so that i can get the final thing in there, so just $250 for the harness/ECU, and then like $200-$300 for a tune....you guys think you're getting impatient? How about looking like an *** with all this turbo stuff on your car for a month or two, having a turbo/manifold ready to go, sitting in front of you, but no computer to tell your car what to do? It sucks for me worse than everyone...
Nah I know what you mean, it took me a while to save up for stuff for the coupe too and I drove around for a good month.
I'm saying just don't delay it any longer with worrying about the engine and all that good stuff. With a tune the engine will be fine, and like I said, even if you do lose it it's not a big deal because Dseries engines are so cheap now.
