So guys, just picked this Acura 1.7 EL up, and looking to enhance its performance. Not sure if this is the section I should be posting this, so if it needs to be moved elsewhere please go ahead admins

well the 1.7 doesnt have that many options for performance upgrades like the other honda engines. but first you need to give more info on what exactly are you wanting and how much you want to spend. and ye this thread is posted in the wrong place. but if admin has a problem with it they will move it.

my opinion just looking at it would to get a lowering suspension and just leave it looking clean.

 

I agree, lowering it would make a huge improvement, but I live in Canada (insane winters). This would be driven in the winter, so would I look into coilovers?

I like the current look as it is right now, looks clean and classy. So my main goal would be to increase its performance, so when I'm driving it, I'm having a lot more fun. Maybe get a more kick out of it when i hit the accelerator? Hope that clarifies it a little bit more.

I've been told by a good friend I should look into changing the cold air intake as a first step?
