Default Need help

we have a 1996 civic with a D16 head and a D15 block (mini mee) we have turboed it and now we blew rod. what are our options. Replace rod and have it happen again. Replace internals with turbo rods and pistons. or change block out with something else maybe b18. We dont have tons of funds. If we use the b18 what about tranny and everything else.

just get another block, go for a d16, then upgrade the rods and bearings, also get a thicker head gasket to help lower the compression, it will help take the strain off the rods. how much boost are you running? the b18 block will not bolt up to a d15 or d16 head or a trans, the b series motors are way different.

Default boost

We are only going to boost about 8-12lbs. I found someone with a d16 block he is asking 275 says. It has about 120k on it. Is this a fair price for something like this

Did you get tuned after installing the turbo?

How much power is it making?

The difference between 8 and 12 PSI is a lot. What turbo is it?

What specific head and block is it? D16__, D15__
