Installing the turbo shouldnt be a problem. But how are you going to connect the charge piping to the carburator is what Id like to know. How about fuel management, Id like to see that play out. I wish I could help more, but I have never seen turboed carburator civic.

my mechanic and every1 has a pretty good idea about a turbos in carborators.bcoz all the turbo charger vehicles in our country r 12-15 year old trucks and SUVs with carb engine.i think me and my mechanic can find something for that, but what i'm realy worried about is a "BLOW OFF VALVE".bcoz i cant buy it here.but i can built 1 if i hav a very clear knowledge about it,what it does?how it does, and its inside look.

and about the charge pipe and air filter......i was thinking about using a air filter(like the one u hav on ur EFI civic, those cone type AEM airfilters) and connect to the the turbo(like u did)and connect the charge pipe of the intercooler in hole over the carborator from where it pulls the air into the carborator(where my stock round air filter was suppose to stay).I mean removing thae black round thing over my carb.i guess u guyz understood what i'm trying to say

i'm not sure if its gonna work or not, still i'm gona with my mechanic and make sure it does work or figure out something els.what do u guys think about it??

I didnt catch the part where the charge piping will connect to the carb very well. What are you using for fuel management?

i'm realy worried about is a "BLOW OFF VALVE".bcoz i cant buy it here.
You really don't need a blow off valve, so dont worry about it. But if you really want one, I suppose you could send a check to one of us, and we can buy you one here in the states and send it back to your country.

i dont think the fuel management system is not gona b a big prob for me.i guess u have heard about a fuel called CNG,Compressed Natural Gas.Here,in my country octan, petrol, diesel are kinda expensive.and in our country we have quite a few this CNG fields where we r mining and colleting huge amount of CNG gas.because it being very cheap(with US$1 CNG gas u can run ur car for 20-30 miles in city and 30-40 miles in highways,on the other hand u can run 5-7 miles in US$1 of octal/petrol) and environment friendly. So today almost in every power sector suck as industries, factories, vehilcle,we r using CNG as fuel.

my car is also converted to CNG,its like a Hybrid car.It runs on both,octan/petrol and CNG.in here we use CNG convertion kits.the EFI kits are a little difficult to configure, but the carborator kits are like universal kits and they r pretty easy to configure, and they can b configure in a much wider range.i hav good mechainics here to configure that,i also hav very highly trained technician if i need them for this CNG configuring.so i guess the fuel managment is not gonna b a problem for me.

and about the charged pipes connection, the air in pipe connects to a box where the air filter stays.the air filter stays right above the carborator.air comes into thje pipe, then it enters that box and gets into the filter and purifies the air and sent it to the though a HOLE carboraot to mix with fuels and burn.my plan is removing the entire air pipe and filter and the box that contains the filter.and them put an air intake kit, like this 1

http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/2275/airfilter5sh.jpg

i will connect this air intake with the intercooler. And i will connect the intercooler charged piping in the place over the carborator, from where i removed my stock filter and air pipe.So the air will be purified though the new air intake system when it enters to the intercoller and it will go the carborator though the charged piping.

i guess u guys understood what i ment, right???its pretty complicated for me too to make u guys understand.lolzz

anywayz, now about the blow-off valve,i need it coz with out it da turboz kinda dumb.coz with out it i aint gona get that shifting sound out off my turbo.so that blow-off valve is a MUST!!! for me.so u guys gotta do something about that blow-off vavle.give me details of it so i can built 1 here.but i guess that will be much more harder and besidez wht if it doesn't get my that awesome sound.so it will b great if u guys can buy a pretty good universal blow-off valve, and sent it to me.it will be great.tell me more about how much will it cost me and how can i send u guys ur money??

I live in Dhaka,Bangladesh.u can send it by DHL or Fedex.

reply fast guys

Would that CNG gas even work with a turbo? This whole build you got going on is just a little bizzare, but I suppose if your mechanic knows what he's doing its possible. Far as the blow off valve goes, If you send me a check or money transfer, you can pick out what you want and I can send it to you.

i know its kinda wierd.but i think it'll work.the turbo will sure work on the CNG,but i don know if my engine can hold it or not,coz i never saw any turbo charged cars in my country.my got a very healthy engine, but i dont know if it can hold a turbo or not......................r u guys sure it will hold???

and about the blow off valve,u look for a cheaper model that will give a good sound and fit in my car.coz u got alot more better xperience in dis dan me.and tell me detail how 2 send u da money.

The motor should hold. Just run low boost. Get a boost guage, and run about 5-6 psi max. I dont know the octane rating on that gas you got, heck, its probably not even rated by octane. Start at low boost, like 2 psi, and then take the car for a drive and listen for knocking, or detonation. Then increase boost by 1 psi till about 5 psi, long as you hear no knocking or any unhealthy sounds. How do you increase the CNG gas flow to match the flow of the air from the turbo? How do you get that ration of fuel to air right like an FMU would equal out for you?
