i was wondering if any one else that is boosted if there oil gets jet black really quick? and is there anything to flush that old oil thats built up in there like that valvoiline stuff,but that u can buy at a store, and what kind of oil are you guys running? dont wanna go to thick and have a something bad happen. thanks guys

 

What do you mean by really quick? less than 1k miles? Ive always used mobile 1 fully synthetic 10w30. I dont know about flushing out your old oil. I just change mine every 2k-2.5k miles. Turbos make things very hot so your oil will look darker quicker.

 

after about 1.5k miles my oil was jet black and i thought that was kinda fast for it to turn so black. im using 10w40 right now. would it be ok for me to run 15w40 or is that to thick? my buddy used to work at valvoline and they had this stuff that they would put in after they draind ur oil and let ur car run for 1min then drain it out and it was supposed to clean the old built up junk out of your motor.
