Default Port&Polish????

I have a 95 honda civic, D16Z6, turbocharged with 175HP to the wheels. I have modded the fuel system, but im wondering if it would be worth it to port and polish the head, or if im wasting my time. What kind of horsepower gain would that give me, and is is cost beneficial, vs possibly swapping out to a K20A? Any forseen complications with either one? Don't know, and would appreciate advise.

You know about the cost??? I have heard it runs about 600 to 750 for a decent port and polish. Is it something i could do myself? Ive seen post's on it but have no idea the difficulty involved in it.

I'm pretty sure a good port polish will give you more than 15hp.

You aren't going to know exactly until you do it, it just depends on your setup and who did the port and polish. Head jobs and cost over $1k also. You are going to need a cam/springs/retainers to take advantage of the work done also.

I think it was riceburner that told me that a p&p would also allow the engine to respond to future mods even better than if it wasnt p&p'd
