So, I go to my buddy's shop tonight...
... to help him get his Trans Am back together. Well it comes to a part where only one pair of hands is needed, so I go wander through their little auto graveyard to look for a set of windshield washer nozzles since mine are non-existent and he told me there was a Civic back there, when all of the sudden I stumble upon a 1G Talon.
Hmm, I thought. "Hey, what are you guys doing with that Talon back there?"
"Nothing. It's actually going to the junkyard this week. Why?"
"Are there any useable parts on it still?"
"I dunno, but if there is you can have whatever you can get off of it."
30 minutes later and this was going in my trunk...

Looks like my build plans may have changed a bit.

Cheaper than pulling 75% of a kit off of a junked car for free?
Little to no shaft play, although I havent' fondled many turbos so I don't really have a frame of reference. I will probably get a FMIC if I go for it, but I might go budget and use the cute little side mount. Maybe, I'll put it in my hood.

Nice find street sniper, did you grab the b.o.v. off of the eclipse too, those are suppost to be priety good. Also I agree with Pete Jonnyracecar.com makes some awesome and cheap intercoolers, however there web site has been down for the past 3 months, what gives?
