Default Sputtering @ 10PSI

After blowing my motor a while back I got a new single cam vtec semi-built motor and found a different shop to go to. well i got it tuned and got a new tranny clutch and pressure plate on and i have my car set at 13.5 PSI and when it hits 10psi the car starts to sputter. the cluctch was bad before, that is why i got a new one and its still doing the "sputtering". Any idea what could be causing this? Thanks in advance.

is the clutch sputtering or the motor? If not the clutch.. do you have aftermarket injectors?

i got 250 miles on the new clutch clutch masters stage 4. 6 puck street/strip clutch and pressure plate. i think after 250 miles it should be broken in i hope. i have rc440 injectors also. it could be the motor but since the clutch is new it shouldnt be slipping? i appreciate the help

you need to describe the issue more. I experienced "sputtering" when my BOV spring got broken into pieces. The BOV would leak above 6psi and make fnny noises.

when were any of your electrical components changed? boosted motors go through plugs quicker, but id say fuel/electrical issue as my first suspects

Damn... I think RC 440s are a little small for 13.5 lbs of boost IMO. What's your injector duty cycle at? Do you have a wideband set-up? If so, what are your A/F ratios when it "sputters"? Also, if you paid to have it tuned by someone, take it back to them and ask questions.

What is your car tuned on?

the plugs are all good. the duty cyclce for the injectors are at 90% - 95% i believe. i do not have a wide band set up. and it is tuned on Neptune from GO Power Motorsports. as far as more info on the problem when im floored the motor will sputter at 10lbs for a sec or 2 and then it will go full boost. and as far as the bov it works fine it doesnt make any different noise then normal.. thanks for all your guys' help.
