6,7,8 for a dd will last a while (depending on trim and other components, as well as tune)

agreed...but with a really really good tune, 12psi should be safe for the "track" but if its a DD, i wouldn't push the boost past about 8 or 9psi...but thats just me....he could build that motor for $400-$100 (depending on parts used, extent of the build, source of parts...etc.) and push that 12psi or even more safely. but like i said, i wouldn't go past 8-9psi for a dd, and that much psi with a good tune wont really hurt the longevity of the motor much. (pervided he doesn't beat the hell out of it all day)

Ok, how about something not so vague? What size T3? Super 60?

No more than 12psi with the stock honda map sensor, if he goes with a bigger map sensor he will be able to run more boost tuned correctly.

12 psi on a DD application is not hard to do and would be safe if you have the fuel enrichment to compenstate for the boost.

i think if he wants to be safe then he should stick to 8-9 psi. if he doesnt have the cash to rebuild the motor then tell him to stay within the single digit psi limits.

^ yea, i guess im just looking at numbers my crappy 270cc injectors will handle...im not sure what size the GSR injectors are. but with a better map and real good tune 12 psi will be ok, but i would just stay to 8-9...something like that.

you might want to get bigger injectors, stock hondas are only 240cc
