Nitrous, Super Chargers, & Turbos All charged talk about going FAST.

Are there such thing as legit inexpensive turbos?

turbos don't use a header, they use a turbo manifold. Are you sure the stuff you are looking at is the right stuff or even fits together?

you'll need a different manifold, yea. If you buy a manifold the same exact shape or close to it, it should fit no problem. If the manifold you buy is different, well you'll have to find out.

Around $100 for no-name ones on eBay. As long as they're cast iron, no-name ones are typically fine.

But you'll want to try as hard as possible to get one exactly the same but for D-series, especially if it comes with the downpipe. This will make your install easier and help to reuse the downpipe it comes with (if it comes with one).

Check on eBay for Honda CRX HF exhaust manifolds. You can usually find them pretty cheap... you can weld a turbo flange onto the collector and you have a cheap log-style manifold; not the prettiest thing on earth, but it's cheap and works. I'd imagine a muffler shop wouldn't charge much to fab up a down-pipe if you'd want to go that route.

you get what you pay for, and for a turbo setup. i know i would put out the extra coin seeing as how you could be totally borked.

Well I found a kit but its for 2001-2005 Civic (Europe) or EP3 (I believe).
I was wondering if I could get it but just do some minor modification like pipes but as long as the manifold turbo and everything fits in the engine. Does anyone know if that would work...as long as I had some modification.

never mind I found out it was for a d16, but if someone thinks I can still do it, knowledge is great.
