Does anybody know if they make turbos for a 97 civic ex auto trans. if they do can you tell me where i can get one. the only mods that i have is an intake.

 

I would suggest you learn about them before you even start to plan boosting. As far as your question the turbo itself is not what you will have fitment issues with, it's the manifold and piping more so than anything. About every major turbo company makes a kit for your car it comes down to how much power you want, how much money you are willing to spend, and how involved you want to get with modding your car.

 

But my car is Automatic is that a problem?

 

nope, not a problem at all untill you rip your tranny out.

I would suggest a upgraded tq converter or swap to a 5 speed if you could just for the sake or reliability and getting the most out of your setup but other than that man a kit will fit on a auto just like it will on the manual

Honda isn't exactly known for its high quality auto trannies, so if you put a whole lot of power into that weak tranny, something is bound to break eventually.

 

first it will start slipping then around 4 to 6 months later it will be unable to drive

A 5-speed assuming that you can drive one.

 

and if not learn to drive one......you will love it
