I wish you were doing this as I was unloading all of my turbo parts. My turbo build died on me since the money was getting a little too out of hand at the time and I was forced to sell all of the stuff.
Good luck with the build! |
Yea, expect to pay around $400 for a tune

Hmm, I was thinking today, and how would I pass emissions? Having the obd1 ecu in wouldn't pass emissions, and it's not like I can just throw the stock obd2 ecu back in since it wouldn't read anything and go crazy with fuel system and stuffs. Is there a way around it?
I regret buying my ek just because of all the emissions stuff. I wish I would've bought an eg coupe, I love ek's but emissions is a killer. |
I think some states don't care if you put the OBD1 ECU in... either that or the emissions testing shops don't care. I don't know anything about Wisconsin emissions testing though.
Here's a thread related to wisconsin emissions and turbo http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=1342867 |
Hmm, cause I don't want to start buying turbo stuff now and end up having to take it all off if I don't pass ha. Maybe I'll give them a call next week.
Found this on cl, emailed the guy for a lil more info. http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/pts/1597661108.html |
That's an ebay kit
garbage |
^That is definitely a crappy no name turbo kit that was probably bought off ebay. You can probably get that same kit new on ebay for the same price or a couple $100 more.

Yea I emailed him and it is straight off ebay lol.
