Im about to install a turbo on my 95 civic 1.5 SOHC. i was wondering if there is any recomended upgrades or modifications i should do to the engine to keep it out of the garage for repairs.

 

we need a lot more info in order to help you further.

a.) what type of turbo
b.) how much boost is that turbo planning on running
c.) have you done a compression test? and are the numbers within 10%
d.) etc...

and you should be fine stock, as long as you keep it under 200whp, and make sure you get a good tune, the tune is what makes the car reliable or not.

 

How dependable your setup will be is directly dependent on the amount of time and money you are willing to spend and how much knowledge you have about what you are doing.
