RE: Turbo charging d15b7
I have found that stock 4G civic engines actually make damn good sleeper engines. I have a friend who has a 90 standard HB (D15B1, 70hp/82 lb-ft. stock), and he runs 10 lbs. and a 40 shot on stock internals. The only thing he had to do was convert to MPFI (pretty simple). He runs 13's regularly, and it's a daily driver. The 4G D-series engines have really solid bottom ends for their size, since they have cast basket braces under the crank, so they are able to hold together pretty well.
