you are pushing the HOT oil out of the turbo with some not so hot oil or cooler oil. If you just shut the car down after a pull you can actualy cook the bearings inside the turbo because the HOT oil is still sitting inside the turbo
an oil cooler helps(dont know if civics have them?) if they do get a bigger one.

They don't have them stock but you can buy an oil cooling kit.
