Listen to remmy.. Omg. He said it twice. Ha. Don't boost more than 8 psi and you'll be fine. Just spend the money and get a good kit and a good/great tune and you'll be fine. Just be careful with it cuz like it has been said already.. Few people know a lot about this motor yet.

I say go for it. Just don't go crazy.

(Not that I know much at all about turbo.)

Honestly, if you dont have the know-how and a second mode of transportation, I see absolutely no reason why you should be boosted a brand new car/motor. I'm not usually one to deter anyone from boost, but the fact of the matter is you're setting yourself up for some huge headaches..

I know plenty of guys who own nice/powerful cars, and think they know alot because of it, but they don't know jack. Not saying you're the same way, but just casue you drove an LS1 doesn't tell me you're a mechanic

All I'm saying is that if I had a brand spankin new car with a warantee, the last thing I'd be thinking about is slapping a turbo to it.

Especially on an engine that may-be only a handful of people ahve turboed so far...wait a year or two and see what comes out and the prices will drop.

You don't have much engine bay room for a turbo, and I think you'd be very hard pressed to find good engine management for the car. Also, from what I've been seeing, people have been maxing out at 200whp with them and they just have some troube responding to boost. They have WEIRD cylinders, iron actually, which makes them a buttload of annoying to deal with once they're open.

However, if you do blow it up, I have a brand new one you can buy.
